Company leaders customarily present the plan to the employees. This can be done in any fashion desired. A group meeting may be held to provide an overview of how the plan operates. The Plan Summary may be presented to each participant. The Plan Agreement may be delivered in this meeting or in individual meetings.
This meeting can be used to reinforce the company’s overall value-sharing philosophy and to explain why the eligible employees were selected to participate. Since the company owners are committing to sharing significant value with the assembled employees the meeting offers a unique opportunity to create meaningful alignment.
The company should retain all executed documents and prepare internal personnel to handle ongoing administration of the plan.
At the end of stage five the company has officially enrolled employees in the plan.
